Goheung Space Astronomy Science Center Sets Special Schedules for 2026

Goheung County has announced changes to the operating schedule of the Goheung Space Astronomy Science Center for the 2026 holiday and summer periods. The center will adjust its opening days and offer special programming for visitors during these times.

According to the announcement, the science center will remain open to the public throughout the Children's Day holiday period, specifically from May 2 to May 5, 2026. This schedule allows visitors to access the center during a popular holiday window.

Following the holiday, the center will observe substitute holidays and will not be open on May 6 and May 7, 2026. These closures are in line with the official holiday schedule released by Goheung County.

In addition to the holiday schedule, Goheung County has introduced special summer-night programming at the center. The special events are scheduled to take place from July 25 to August 17, 2026, and will include activities focused on astronomy and hands-on experiences.
