The NARBHA Wellbeing Collaborative is offering professional development programs for Arizona health professionals and organizational leaders. These initiatives focus on strengthening workforce wellbeing, resilience, and organizational culture in healthcare settings.

The Leader Roundtable, a year-long leadership development experience, is designed for executives, managers, supervisors, and professionals responsible for workforce wellbeing and organizational change. Participants engage in mentorship from experienced leaders and facilitators, as well as peer learning with other Arizona professionals.

The program incorporates monthly guided reflection sessions that address topics such as leadership, wellbeing, and systems change. Project-based action is also included, allowing participants to apply their learning directly within their organizations.

The Wellbeing Collaborative of Arizona brings together over 350 members from more than 150 organizations. Its mission is to empower health leaders and stakeholders to transform healthcare workplaces and systems through a culture of wellbeing and equity.

The Collaborative upholds eight core values, including sustainability, excellence, mutual respect, and compassion. Its strategic initiatives focus on workforce development, advancing health professional wellbeing, and advocating for wellbeing in healthcare settings.

In addition to professional development, the Wellbeing Collaborative has contributed to advocacy efforts. It played a role in supporting the proclamation of March 18 as Health Workforce Wellbeing Day in Arizona, with backing from 35 organizations.

The organization also acted as a strategic convener in the process that led to the signing of HB 2173 on April 1, 2025. This law removed mental health questions from healthcare licensing applications in Arizona.

The AZ Public Health Association published information about these professional development opportunities on February 24, 2026. The Leader Roundtable program is currently accepting applications until 11:59 PM on March 1, 2026.
